Dr. Dexter Todd

Todd Participated in several mooting competitions in which he received recognition for various excellent presentations; amongst those were The Philip C. Jessup international moot Court competition held in Washington DC, the Lex Caribbean Regional Client interview competition held in Jamaica, and the National Youth Parliament Guyana.

Following a desire for higher legal education, Todd pursued his LL.M in Conflict Resolution at Charisma University and completed the same in 2019 where he received the Chancellor’s Award for his high-academic performance. In that same year, Todd went on to enroll for a second LL.M at Cambria University in London and pursued a Master of Law degree in International Business Law and completed the same in 2020. In 2020, again, Todd pursued a Master of Science in Fraud and Risk Management from the University of Salford Manchester which he completed same in March 2022. This distinguished Attorney could not resist the offer in being part of Charisma University again, hence, in 2020, he also began his academic journey, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Law.

Todd also received an honorary doctorate in Law from CICA International University & Seminary in 2021. In the year 2021, he received his ambassadorial appointment for WHOMI to the United Nations and now serves as a Peace Ambassador.

In the year 2021, Todd began lecturing at Charisma University to both LL.B and LL.M students in the area of Law and Legal systems, Conflict Resolution, and Communications

Todd possesses experience in all areas of law and has litigated, from admission to bar to current, over 500 cases. In addition, he is a coach to many young attorneys and law students from both the University of Guyana and Charisma University.
